Basil

It is a tender annual herb with a powerful aromatic scent.   Basil acts as a diaphoretic and also reduces fever.  It is antibacterial, antiseptic, antifungal and antispasmodic.  Basil stimulates the immune system by increasing production of antibodies.   It can provide relief from colds, coughs, asthma, sinus congestion, headaches, arthritis, rheumatism and fevers.
